Trip #1: Colombia - Pathways to peace & Entrepreneurship

Journey through the land of Colombia and explore the pathways to peace that have been forged over the years. This trip will take you on a journey through the country's rich history, from its colonial past to the present day. Discover the efforts of Colombian communities to build sustainable peace after years of conflict and learn about the ways in which entrepreneurship, music, dance, and art have played a role in this process. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Colombia, from the bustling streets of Bogotá to the idyllic Caribbean coast and the coffee-rich Andes. Savour the flavours of local cuisine and witness the stunning natural beauty that has inspired generations of Colombians. Join us on this journey to Colombia and explore the pathways to peace that have been forged through resilience and hope.


Trip #2: Yukon - INdigenous Education and Social justice

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the wilderness and storied history of Canada’s Yukon Territory. From the vibrant capital of Whitehorse to the historic gold rush town of Dawson City, this program offers a thrilling experience into the heart of the Yukon. Witness the majestic peaks of Tombstone Territorial Park, a legacy of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in land. Traverse the Klondike Highway, following the footsteps of gold prospectors and First Nations Peoples to uncover the timeless allure of the Yukon all while enhancing your understanding and knowledge on how to become stewards of the land. 


TRIP # 3: SPain - Girls Soccer Tour

Ms. Cunningham and Ms. Butler are taking a group of soccer players to Spain, where they will  engage in international soccer games and training sessions with some of the world's most renowned football clubs. The 2 week trip will be an immersive experience, featuring 3-4 games, training sessions with clubs in Barcelona and Madrid, and the opportunity to explore Spain’s natural wonders and rich heritage, including some beachside exploration. The tour party will comprise of 20-24 players from both the current junior and senior teams, with tryouts in the fall to fill any necessary vacancies. This will be a memorable way to make sure our soccer season starts with success. Please come to a meeting in the Monkman foyer on Friday, May 24th at the beginning of lunch, and bring your questions if you are interested in this adventure.
